Day 29 Sunday 19th June

We went to the Low Isles on the Reef Sprinter! Advertised as the fastest way to get to the reef,  and guaranteed no sea sickness,  we were out to this magical place in 15min.
Everyone loved the fast ride! We got the glass bottom boat over to the island and got a sneak peak of what was ahead.
Took us a while to get everyone sorted with their mask and flippers and how to use them and then we were off! I'm glad we opted not to have an underwater camera as the kids needed our help.  The water was up to 6m visibility and quickly got too cold for the little ones, but they were able to see most of the reef including the bombies,  lots of reef fish species, giant clams about 150 years old and over 1m wide, turtles, sea cucumbers and many different corals.
It was also Barry's first time snorkelling. I was to slow getting a picture of him in his wet suit 😳!
The ride back had Blake feeling a little ill,  lucky it was over quickly.
In the afternoon,  We had a surprise we had been keeping from the kids for ages! New visitors joining our trip for a few days!
What a fun afternoon of cricket, coconut husking, beach exploring amd tent disco's.
